It takes work, but it can work.

Couples with differing religions have a LOT to work through--how will children be raised, will they each remain specific to their own religion or merge, etc. There are plenty of issues.

Culturally it will be a stretch. While the result can be rewarding, it can be a struggle for some newly weds to respond to the newer culture. Some cultures don't show love as much as others do; some have more family involved. Would you want your mother-in-law living with you for 10 years?

You just have to work it out, though it will be hard. You just have to be willing to work.

I think it can work, but I also think this kind of marriage has many more difficulties and problems than a marriage between those of the same culture and country. I'd think about it long and hard. Marriage is hard enough as it is.

They are great. Even people from the same culture have different expectations. Being from different cultures forces you to address those issues sooner and more openly.

You have more the share, learn and appreciate if you are from different cultures.
