Currently no. In terms of equipment the Russians and the Europeans could have a chance but...again no.

The Russian Navy still needs more money to rebuilt the current fleet (which fell into disrepair in the 1990s for lack of funds) and improve the sailors' proficiency before they could once again become a major naval power. The Political will is there...but again need more cash.
None of the European nations can match the USA anymore because their forces are too small (the British Royal Navy and the French Navy combined barely make up four USA Carrier Battle-Groups). Even if you combined every navy in Europe + the Russians you'd only get the combat equivalent of the entire USA Atlantic Fleet. As for whether the Europeans want to change this...hahahaha. Look at how easily their defence budgets (especially Britain's) shrink every 5 years or so to pay for their stupid social programs.

The Chinese as they stand have no business challenging the USA. Their modernization program has not neglected the Navy...but overall like their Air Force the bulk of their seapower is old and half/modernized 1970s warships and submarines. To become a serious naval power they will need at least 4 carriers and more modern ships and subs. They have the political will, but realistically it would take 10+ years before they could even get half of such a fleet.

No, our naval power far outweighs any other navy. I was stationed in Japan in the navy till a little over a year ago and have been to both Russia and China. I have been on Japanese, Russian, and Chinese ships and talked with people in all of their navies. None of them could go toe to toe with us. Now if a bunch of countries got together we might be in trouble, and I don't really know how our armies etc. stack up, but our navy is far superior to any other navy.

The French Navy, the Royal Navy and Japan's MSDF. Russia's navy is in disarray, China doesn't have a single operational carrier and not much luck with their subs. The Aegis system is the most advanced in the world and only the USN and JMSDF have it.

it isn't any longer as easy because the video games make it seem. i comprehend cutting-part war 2 confirmed a large invasion of the East Coast by using the Russians however the issue enemy international locations have with invading us is the very incontrovertible certainty that we've 2 oceans and a couple of pleasant international locations surrounding us. China would not have a huge sufficient military and Air rigidity to level a useful invasion from the seas and until eventually they could get Canada and/or Mexico to illustrate antagonistic to us and let them level an attack from the north or south they don't seem to be going to attend to to do a useful land invasion. i wager you may want to attend until eventually q4 even as the pink break of day remake comes out and word how they set it up, because it is meant to illustrate a chinese invasion. however, it truly is a especially sturdy wager that it's not any longer going to be very life like how the pull it off.

The UK and France put together maybe, but they are not our enemies so it is not a threat. The former Soviet Navy could, but what is left is rusting in port. China is building a large navy, maybe a few years from now could challenge the US Navy.

Yes, the Royal Navy & the French navy. Both are sizeable, well armed & have long traditions in sea power. The Russian navy is in great disrepair & rarely puts to sea much. China, India, and Japan's MSDFare quite noteworthy as well.

Definately NOT! Even Russias navy is antiquated to the point of no contest. China is just building its first aircraft carrier and is pretty up to date in technology but really has few ships in numbers.

if you mean could any other Navy win a long term fight against the US Navy - No
If you mean could the US Navy be damaged by other powers yes. - any nuclear power could deploy a nuclear device against one or more carrier battle groups in a choke point and do a hell of a lot of damage. But it would be at a terrible cost.
