Certainly there are risks. You will be chemically altering your hair. That translates into damaged hair. It will be dryer, more brittle, more inclined towards problems all around. Swimming also becomes problematic, chlorine will turn your hair green, so you'll have to wear a swim cap. You could also burn your scalp, cause allergic reaction in your skin. It may not color right and you could end up with some color you hate.

You may want to consider that your skin tone is suited to your natural hair color. When you change your hair color you are going to look 'off'. Even with make-up, it's obvious. Then you will have to deal with new growth. Black roots, very attractive. So, you bleach more and do more damage to your hair. It's also expensive, especially if you have it Salon done.

Once you begin, it's a vicious cycle. Best not to start. Think about why you want to do this. Are you unhappy with something, or do you just want a change? Sometimes it's best to take a deep breath, step back, and wait for a bit. You may change your mind in a week or two.

Yes! Although there are few, health wise, your appearance could be in danger if you don't know what you're doing. There are many methods in which to bleach hair. If you are doing an all over bleach where it comes in contact with the skin, you should seek professional help from a trusted salon. If you are doing a streak or highlight you should do the same unless you are familiar with different levels and strengths of peroxide. Worse case scenario is blisters on your scalp and hair breaking and falling out from over processing.

ive bleached my hair tonnes. Bleaching is killing your hair. But if your going to put black or something on top the dye usually makes it feel nicer not so dry and gross you just have to take well care of it. Also can go orange if your coming from dark colour more than likely it will

Yes!!!!! You will notice that your hair wont be as smooth and silky, it will get tangled and frizzy more easily and will of course show signs that it was bleachd, it will look unhealthy! So remember once you bleach your hair look after it the best you can! Give it all your attention after its bleaching, and ask your haridresser for some of his salon shampoo treatment formulation to improve hair condition, Davroe Salon Shampoo and Conditionair. Its ideal for permed, coloured, bleached or dry hair. It is also compatiable with your hair and scalp, and will reduse static fly away and frizzy hair. It can only be purchased at hairdressers. After I bleached my hair to go from black to blonde my hair was fried for a couple of months and I had to do treatments on my hair to help it get healthy again. But it was worth it!
