Try using nero 7 it converts to mpeg 1 or 2 this should play on most decks as long as your dvd blank is compatable and especially if you finalise the recording

quite simple
1. Use Nero or any other cd burning tools
2. start nero startsmart
3. in the multimedia / music option it lets u to use a dat , wma, or any other media file to be converted to video/audio cds
4. in case solved ok else ask step by step details

You will need video movie software like Pinnacle's Studio 10 to convert it and burn it to DvD... you can download a free 30 day trial of the software at

I personally like the Studio Suite.... but you may not need that kind of capabilities... this software is really great.. and you can buy many upgraded "studio effects" for your videos.
