I am not trying to offend anyone, or insult anyone's religion. I was just wondering..why do we all think God is a male, what if he was black? or hispanic? or a female? it seems everyone thinks God is white or a male..why?

BUB, you are right to ask! God is all these things. God is white and black. God is poor and rich. God is male and female.
God became poor for us. If God can create male and female then, he himself is both--->without the gender genitalia.
He does not have those female or male human parts although he did have male parts as the man Jesus. God is all races.
God is everything to everyone. The more the world understands this, the less racism there will be.

God is not limited by biology, as we are. In the Christian religion, we record God as creating both males and females, and both were made "in the image of God". The very things that determine our genders: biology, emotive differences, different ways of thinking, drives, etc., are all found within God.
We usually think of God as "male" because of one (usually) male aspect: in reproduction (the extending of life) the male initiates (gives) and the female recieves (responds). When relating to Humanity, God is always the initiator, and Humanity (people) respond.
Also, when God walked with us on the Earth, He took the form of a Man, and not a woman. That Jesus was born male, and not female, is not a "statement" that God is only male. It was part of the corrective action (on God's part) to counter-act the Fall of Man (initiated by Adam).
Stateing that God is one "race" or another is just ignorant. I don't know why people do that.

the way you approach god normally dictates how he is visualized,the true image of god eludes the mind,its transcendent.most religion is taught ,but truth can be had through intuition only, just because alot of people imagine god to appear a certain way doesn't mean they are correct,much the same way middle ages paintings of Christ are depicting him as a white man with long beard and long hair when in reality 1st century style was short hair almost cropped with short beard.so the way we imagine god is always wrong male or female ,black or white is irrelevant .if a white man thinks a black or Chinese looking god is any less than a white looking god then they are further away from god than an atheist

God is an intellegent energy force and/or a spirit as his angels, there are no male or female. This is roman catholic lies as with the fallen angels came to earth and had babies..
Jesus said: Mt 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like God`s angels in heaven.

They can transform into humans good or evil...
Heb 13:2 Don`t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.
Thier expertise is indwelling people as witnessed by Jesus casting out demons.

AS for God being a man: Jesus said if you would have known me you would have known my Father..........Jesus was using human terms so the people could understand....
Jesus was concieved by the Holy spirit ( God's working force that created the earth ) not by a sex organ as earthly fathers and animals do..
Listen to Jesus or listen to the false teachers
This is why the religion is so mixed up, Jesus and the Apostles warned us..

In Hinduism there are lots of male as well as female Gods. I dont think that anyone has ever seen God. Its just a perseption. So why bother whether God is male or female.

Well, in fact I don't believe in God existence, but if there was one it's much more possible to be a woman, cause the woman is the beginning. In lots of old religions a goddess is the one who gave birth to everything alive.

Seeing as how God is made up in the first place, it doesn't make any difference so if you prefer that your imaginary friend is a woman, run with it. It only becomes dangerous when you start thinking God exists.

Most Christians belive god is male because Jesus prayed to his father in heaven. I have heard theories that the third part of the trinity is female(the holy ghost) because all mankind(including women) were created in gods image.

what if-then the Jewish people would have rejected their messiah anyways-the orthodox pray every day-thank god he didnt make me a woman-sad but true---well it aint but u may make anything ur god-Romans 1 they worshiped the created rather than the creator and were unthankful -a woman could Let God in her heart and be a co-equal in Jesus with God-well u can---Jesus is more than just a man and in the middle east they arnt white nor black but inbetweened skin color-would u want to see a woman up on the cross?-he is a tender heart-and think about it-ok and about your b/f the loser who goes out to drink and breaks his date with u-find a true prince-who will honor u and adore u and one day marry you.
