Hi, I am also thinking about getting my daughter in like a pre K program at 3 here in Texas...they do have programs but you have to qualify depending on how much you make...my husbands in the military so we constanly qualify. But I am sure it is 5.

you have to be 4 for pre-k and turn 5 by sept for kinder

five... six is pushing it and may be cause for legal action against you in some cities or counties. Check your local school district...
