all foods provide nutrients so they are called nutritional. So yes ice cream is nutritional. It provides fat, calories, and cholesterol. It has few carbohydrates if it is natural or may have lots of carbohydrates from sugar if it has lots of sugar. Low sodium usually because it gets all that flavor from sugar. I have even provided some nutrional facts for Breyer's Strawberry icecream. If you want to know if icecream is good for you or healthy, I give you the answer that anything taken in moderation is good for you. Ice cream is particularly full of fat or sugar additives if the natural fat of milk is removed that gives it that flavor. Now the amount of icecream that you eat will determine how healthy it is to you. Ice cream as part of a diet that is low in fat calories and cholesterol can help reduce your risk of heart disease. As with any healthy diet maintaining a healthy weight through excercise is also important. Bon appetite!

Depends on how its made. I know that Italian Ice that is more of a sherbet made with real fruits is much healthier than something like Ben & Jerry's. The flavor and the amount consumed at one moment will determine if the nutrients recieved out weigh the fat. Generally we are looking at calcium, certain vitamens, and some anti-oxidents depending on the type of Ice cream.

Some ice cream are nutritional. Just like here in our country, they try to create ice cream out of vegetables or other fruits. It's like creating shakes from fresh fruits. At first it sounds weird, specially if you are used to the usual ice cream, but when you try to taste it, it taste the same.

No it is not particularly nutricious. Just delicious. I love all ice cream. I love sorbet, I love Gelato, I even love the cheap stuff. I love when my cone gets down to the bottom and the mushy stuff is all that's left. Bad news, though... I'm lactose intolerant. ;-(. I risk a stomachache at least once a month, though!!!
