You’ve decided you want to improve your handwriting and you’re probably hoping a fountain pen will do the trick -- maybe a friend told you it would. Maybe you’re just adventurous and you want to try your hand at calligraphy (or you might, once your handwriting improves). Good for you!

There are lots of books about improving your handwriting, not to mention tons of resources on the internet. There are also handwriting books that you can purchase, that have exercises in them to help you practice and they're great! I remember using them when I was in school. Having a learning tool to help you is really good to have. you can take it with you and practice anywhere.

Practice it over and over again. You need to figure out what you don't like, or folks cannot read, in your writing, then go about making it more readable. This is done by simply writing out the acceptable print over and over again. Get a pen pal and make sure you write long letters to them so you can practice and have a reason to practice. It's the best way. The other thing you might want to do is find some articles and rewrite them by hand so you have a subject matter to practice with. Good luck!!

Buy a proper Ink (cartridge) pen and a caligraphy book. Attempting to learn calligraphy will help you form your letters better in normal handwriting. The ink pen will help you to hold the pen properly in order to put ink to paper

type something up on the computer, set the font to a fancy writing, print it out, hold the paper (with the writing on) up to the window, trace the writing. Hope this helps!
