I am sick of all the debate about the chicken.
Chickens are a dime a dozen ..... what about the poor old rooster?

Because he is henpecked and the chicken told him to do it.

The rooster crossed the road because he was feeling cocky.
Why did the rooster cross the road? Because he had just converted to Christianity and his farmer friend was flying overhead in a crop duster so when he heard the biplane putt-putting over the rooster quickly drew a giant cross on the road with rooster dung which was the only thing he had to draw with but some right-wing fundamentalists thought he was being blasphemous and so they cooked his goose which made him very sad because that goose was his best friend.

Rooster was getting bored on this side of the road. That`s why he crossed the road and went to stand a bit on the other side of the road......
