I think it works both ways sometimes
I have thought of this at times and I wonder if there is an unsaid, underlying motive whereby one needs to feel superior to the other and commands attention away from the other.
I would refrain from stating that this is true in all cases, but I have thought at times that, I could see it or sense it.
One or the other appeared to always take "center stage", if you will.

i thiNk that its because the overweight men are so busy trying to improve their personality because they think they have little chance of getting a nice girl with all the weight they have. so in order for them to compensate for their extra weight, they try hard to improve what's inside and make it beautiful. and in the end, their good personality just shines out and even if they have the extra baggage, girls will overlook that and see the beauty they have inside. and when it all boils down to it---decent girls really want to spend their entire life with someone like them who are beautiful in the inside. they're the ones worth your time, attention, devotion,and love. what is essential is invisible to the eye.

Maybe he knows what she wants.
He could be providing her with the attention she needs, love security, a home, adventure & so on.
He could be the nicest man in her life, someone she can count on in times of emotional need.

probably beacuse the younger fit men, are to selfish and think that "there the man", and big egos genuinely dont treat their lady with enougph respect that they give them selfs, with out realising it........... so there for and older man would appreciate this beautful woman and treat her with the love and attion most gurls like.
