Hey. I have many feelings for Law Enforcement. The Police in my area (Vancouver, Canada) are what I consider the best. Always there. A dedicated team with excellence in policing by enforcing the law. Encouraging youth/community members to do the right thing. When they drive by, I can know I'm safe and don't need to panic with authority by my side. Nor should I hesitate to ask for help or ask questions when they seem available which is rare since they are hard working. I can trust them. And most of all I'm proud of them... because they make me proud. I've learnt a lot from them and really respect what they do.

What comes to mind is (I'll just be straight forwardly honest) why most people think negative. I'm sure Police Officers are different in all countries and I probably don't have the right to blame them. I was once put in a situation where all I could see is how people hate them and there are barely any people left here who appreciate them. It was disturbing but then I learned that 'you have to believe in what you believe.' And I believe that not all Police Officers are great. But just because 10% are wrong doesn't mean the rest 90% are also wrong... they are hard working and try their best to protect. Another thing that comes to mind is how such less people take the time to show their respect to them. They deserve it and it will be appreciated by them. As a youth myself I think it's about time and I might as well start it so I'm sending a complimentary letter to my local Police Department. And the best thing is, when you're in need, they're just a call away. They'll risk their lives... I'm proud!

Thank-you for asking this question... God Bless!

Warm Regards!

This is a hard one, it depends on the situation, I suppose.
MOST of the time law enforcement is OK. Other times like when they do not solve cases due to not putting enough time and effort into it they leave little to be desired.
Yet, if you need them for something, an emergency, a car accident, etc. they always come. So, it's situational.

Law and order. Why, did you get a raw deal by a cop? I can see where this is going....

I feel they have a pretty dangerous job, but get paid very little!
