Get rid of all the contradictions and hypocrisy.

Religions are man-made. Its a form of self-segregation that humans came up with on their own.
The only real way to make it better would be to get rid of the idea of religion altogether, and allow people to worship freely.
I just finished reading a book about Magellan's circumnavigation of the earth, and was appalled to read that he threatened the tribes he encountered along the way with conversion to Christianity or death. He was not on any kind of missionary voyage, yet he still felt compelled to force his beliefs on those he encountered. He should have just left well enough alone.
That is the problem with religion of any kind: the feeling of being threatened by others with different beliefs. The religious leaders of the world just can't leave well enough alone.

Accept the fact that there ARE other Religions, and people do believe and have the right to believe in other religions, or not to believe at all. It's called FREEDOM OF RELIGON.

first stepwould be to take the advice of John3:16 and to gather knowledge from the Bible about God and his Son Jesus and then put that knowledge to work in life, while keeping on gathering knowledge to use in lifeyes so always to keep working on the knowledge using it well!Doing all that makes ones religion better!

the problem is that its a religion. in a religion you have to follow very strict behavors. If you turn your religion more into a belief than a religion, you would receive more of your "religion". i dont follow any basic religions. i have my own beliefs but i dont force them apon anybody.

Try to more closely follow the teachings of Christ or whoever you follow. Most I believe tried to teach peace and respect and love.
