Khair / kher means Good in arabic

if "good night" used as a greeting upon arrival,meeting or calling some one ,then it is :masa`a al khairمسـاء الخـير
if it used as"bye" after a night`s end or before sleeping, then it is :tusbah ala khair تصـبح على خـير
also "masa`a al khair"used as "good evining" after 12 am
