Of course you can.You as a parent knows what is best for your child. 4 hours is really not that long. You just need to be able to provide food when your baby is hungry, or when it needs to be changed. My son just turned 3 months old and has already been on 2 road trips, both of which were 4 hours as well. You would probably only need to stop once half way through the trip to get your baby out and stretch, feed, change...I never stopped on my trip but my son slept practically the whole way! Kids naturally love car rides so they tend to sleep pretty well as long as the car is moving. I think your child will be more than fine. Trust that you know whats best. Oh ya bring toys and snacks to keep your child entertained. Since you're not driving you might as well sit next to your child in the back seat, so as long as they see you they know everything will be alright!

You are a good mom being worried about your baby like that. If the baby does well with travel he or she should be just fine. Just make sure the air conditioning does not get to cold for the little one. I havew had to travel on a grey hound for 3 days with a seven week old in colder months. It was very tiring but we survived. Everything should be just fine. Keep taking good care of that baby.

It's perfectly fine. We've been traveling with our daughter since she was a baby. In fact, most kids/babies find it very relaxing in a car. Just make sure you have everything the baby will need. If you need to change a diaper though, be sure to pull over. Don't take the baby out of the car seat. Everything will be fine, just enjoy the trip.

No problem at all. Actually, the earlier you travel with your child, the better. They learn tolerance and patience while traveling....and I think a 4 hour car ride is a perfect way to "start him off."
Have fun visiting your parents! I'm sure they can't wait to see their grandbaby!

your baby should be fine! if it was UNairconditioned I'd be worried! Make sure you make frequent stops if the baby is awake... children get cranky being cooped up for too long. More than likely the kid will sleep most of the way though!

There should be no problem as long as there is ac and your child is in good health. Just be prepared the baby may get cranky but other than that there should be no problem! Good Luck everything will be okay!

if you can, leave as early as possible, like 4am when the weather is nice and cool, so by the time you get to your destiantion, the heat would have just kicked in, so you probably wont need to use the air conditioning for as long.
