And if it is true, when was the trinity discovered, and why do some Orthodox Christians tell people they will be punished for not worshipping God as a trinity. I can not find any credible source in the Bible that states the trinity is real.. All I find is parodies that really do not relate to Jesus being God, but Jesus having the same agenda as God.

The trinity is based on a pagan concept that the Romans believed in.

Jews never believed in this bit of nonsense

That is absolutely true. Jewish people believe in one god, and they worship just one god. (The Kaballah sometimes refers to different ASPECTS of God [such as the Shekhina--the feminine aspect of God], but this is not the same thing as believing in different gods.)

Is this aspect of The Kaballah somewhat similar to the Christian idea of the Trinity? Maybe--after all, Christians believe that Jesus is, somehow, simultaneously the incarnation/son of God AND His own Father (AND the Holy Spirit, as well).

It may be helpful to remember that the Jewish notion of a Messiah is entirely different from the Christian notion of The-Messiah-as-God. The Jewish Messiah was predicted to be, basically, a military and spiritual leader--and a mortal man, not God.

If you can come up with a better term than "trinity" to refer to things about the Father, Son, and Spirit that are one while other things are three, then by all means, propose it, and we'll consider it.

There are plenty of theological words that don't appear directly in the Bible. Think of them as the best attempts of prayerful Christians to explain what the Bible teaches by collecting verses and putting forth a complex answer to a difficult question.
