Books! Read to your children. Talking to your children with a vocabulary that is beyond the average vocabulary. Building blocks are important as well. They give the child the ability to problem solve, encourage creativity, and increase manual dexterity.

How about starting with taking them to A Seventh day Adventist church in your area and all major towns have one, and getting them inrolled in a class that teaches God's Word, We live in A world that has a 100% death rate, teaching them The Way out is a smart thing to do, and did you know the Seventh day is the sabbath and that happens to be saturday, no where does it allow for the transfure of the Day God made holy to the first day of the week, yes i know man says its because of Jesus raising from the dead but His deciples keep the seventh day even after that and The Bible was written long after that fact, pray about it, free bible lessons www.itiswritten.com God bless ya.

toys wont just make your children smart.. but they can help. art activities are a great way. they can promote fine motor skills and cognitive skills. you need to extend on this every day. teach them scissor skills and do activities and songs where they can learn about colors, shapes, letters, numbers. sitting a child down in front of a toy will not make them smart but being involved in activities they do and games they play will help them. constant communication helps too.

i think it would be interesting to try those "french with muzzy" tapes because young children supposedly can pick up languages really easy
