It has rind and fat . I also would like to put potatoes with it

I have a small oven so what temp should I set it

if it is only 3/4 of an inch thick, that sounds almost like a pork steak. if you want the potatoes with it, then it seems that you would want to start the potatoes(depending on how big you cut them up, about an hour ahead of when you start the pork, when the potatoes are almost done, i would lay the piece of pork on top of the potatoes, season it, and cover it with foil for about a half hour, set your oven to 350.

Set your oven to about 375 F, make sure there's a little water in the roasting pan, and cook for about 2 hours covered. You can also add a little diced celery and carrots. A touch of salt and pepper and maybe a little garlic powder will help it as well.

As someone has already said this could be a steak, if it is beat i egg dip the steak then dip in bread crums, place on a tray, set temp, 375/200 or 3 gas mark. half cook potatoes in microwave place on the tray brush with oilcook for around 40min, you can add carrotts, pumkin, dont forget the apple sauce.Enjoy
