priya you need not be only a hindu,even i am hindu, but that is no the proirity, priority is what does a husband mean to wife ?i tell you - a friend, who will share your feelings and take you into his arms and some one who will command you when you are confused ,one who will teach you ,listen to you ,,the main thing is he is the one who is your slave and takes all the pains you give him,all the best,dont forget the other person is also a human ,but i guess you are really a loavable lady

I agreee to the people who have answered before me, but if you want to ask it from the society point of view, once a girl is married, she is considered to be the responsibility of her husband and only if the husband is there is the married woman considered eligible to perform all functions and holy poojas.

A husband duty is always care about you, he should always think in advance for your requirements before you ask. The most important think he should feel your reletives as his releatives.Everybody can care about their wives but the real lover is always think each and every requirement of wife and reletives.
