You probably broke the picture tube. Take it to best buy or something like that and have someone take a look at it. If the picture tube is broke, it might be cheaper to just buy a new one instead of getting the tube replaced.

I think the CRT is gone. Get it checked with good mechanic. It is costliest item in TV though.

it's broke, you may be able to have it fixed but it will probably cost more to fix it than to buy a new one. stop putting your tv on your bed.
