There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.

Lucky in love means that you have the smarts to pick good partners
who treat you well and that you tend to stay with. Things work out well. Love is good.
Unlucky in love means that you choose inappropriate partners,
womanizers, losers, abusers who make your life miserable.
Love stinks!
If you think you're unlucky in love, take a break from it. Break the cycle, find out why you're chosing the wrong one. Maybe your
luck will change.
