My friend had a bump right next to her nipple that she scratched and tried to squeeze, and now it's been kind of swollen for a few weeks and dark brown colored. She also says it hurts whenever shes touches it. She keeps asking me what to do, but I don't know so I decided to ask...what could it be and how can she get rid of it?

She should go immediately to a doctor to rule out something serious like breast cancer. I know it is scary to think about the possibility, but the longer she waits, the more dangerous it is. Besides, it could be something else less serious and only the doctor along with the proper tests can tell for sure.

It might be a cist. But whatever it is,it is still not something you sit on it and think should you apply lotion A or lotion B.
Go see a doc and get some professional opinions before it's too late.
A big problem always start from a small problem.

She shouldn't mess with it anymore and see a Doc!!!!
It could be all kinds of things, I believe it's a putrid infection, she might need antibiotics or even small surgery (incision).
