A little bit of sunshine signifies good times, and rain, the bad. That is the tides of life. Good and bad equalize the emotions and happenings of everyday life. And when we fully appreciate this balance, it becomes a rainbow. Full, diversified, and true. We realise that life is full of difference and change that is more beautiful then we can comprehend.

It means that in order for something extraordinary to happen, you need to mized the good and the bad. Good being represented by sunshine, and bad being represented by rain, the end result being a rainbow.
If that hard to understand, I'll give you a personal example. I had a job I thought I would have until I retired. Unfortunately, I acquired a stalker who "outed" an unfortunate aspect of my past that got me fired. It took a number of years, but I eventually landed with an employer who changed my career path and I am more successful nw that if I had be able to stay with the former employer. That is all about making a rainbow from sunshine and rain. My life was hell for a few years, but that stalker only allowed me to ratchet up a few notches.
