Before you take anyones word for anything. Sit down read your bible decide if you have faith and go from there organized religon is for leading the masses not for true faith. True faith comes from within thourgh a personnal relationship with god, not the church. they were ment to be guides not leaders.

for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly

Best of Luck

good ?-but do u understand your ? lol-
Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." the bible
without faith its impossible to believe God.
with God all things are possible
when your faith is in a lie then it rejects the bible-so why not believe the truth and have true faith
i prayed-Jesus im sorry for my sins, believing lies and lying and more, help me do better, be my friend-amen Revelation 3 vs 19&20 says Jesus knocks on our heart, to come in and deliver from sins to be our friend-amen

Visit a pastor and have him show you the end times prophecies that are being fulfilled right now, and you will be shown proof that God exists! Then you will know what to believe and have faith! You will be shown the proof, but can still have faith in God to lead you through the coming times.

I will ask you a question as well: Would you rather live your life believing in God then die only to find out there isn't one OR would you rather live your life NOT believing there is a God then die only to find out there IS one?

Bottom line is - you have faith. Your question never said you don't have faith. Truth or lies - if you believe in God, nothing can shake that.

It is best to believe from your heart because that is where faith is. I have believed others lie but when become aware of the lie lost faith in them yet kept a believing so I could have hope for those to change. Difficult to explain but believing is hoping. If we can't have hope then what hope is there for tomorrow?
We need change for any hope of a better life for tomorrow so we have to keep that hope thriving. The more of us living in hope the brighter tomorrow shall sparkle, wouldn't you agree?

Why not just believe in the truth or do further research and find out if what you think are lies are truly lies?

That depends on the individual. Regardless, truth is a subjective experience. We can find truth in anything.

Both methods will not take you anywhere, end your sufferings or ensure you live a good life now and after death. The best is to study, get the bases right and go on to practice.

Good luck !

It is better to believe the Truth.

Please be aware that there is scientific and intellectual evidence for the existence of God (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm)

I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).

Cordially,
John
