Hello Armysoldier,
(You are truly a wonderful man to be so concerned about comforting your wife, GB U!)
1. Continue to comfort your wife and remind her that as Christians we are not to be "afraid". The joy of every christian is to see the great jubilation of our coming home to Jesus.
2. The beginning of the end times started when Jesus ascended into heaven. Trust God.
by the way...will u pleez pick this as the best answer. U Rock if u do. thin-Q vry mch!

No, one of the key parts of revalations is the death of the two witnesses. The two witness die at the third temple (Which hasn't be built) Since the muslim temple "the doom of the rock" sits on the spot they would have to tear it down and build the new one , the Temple is suppose to be built to specific specifacation; they can not use the muslim temple as god is suppose to reside in the inner santum to use a muslim temple would be blasphamey; so without the temple it would be against the prophecy. However as a chirstian death should not bother us as we have accepted christ into our lives, and therefore we seek heaven thourgh him.
However phophecy is just that nothing more and nothing less. Only god knows what will or will not happen in the end of times.

my dad thinks i'm crazy(he's the only one i've discussed it with)...but, i have read revalation many, many times and i definately think something is wrong. your wife shouldn't be frightened though, just aware and prepared, just in case...i've been following the news about the chaos very closely...for quite a while and i am definately concerned...especially after i saw something on the news about people having minor surgery to put computer chips with all of their info on it inside their skin(like the lost animal tracking chip)...it just so happened that i saw that the same day all of this drama started...think about that one for a minute and read revalation again...although, i'm not completely positive that revalation was entirely literal...i'm still going to try to keep up with the world news...

For what it is worth, I am a soldier also and I would ask your wife to not worry. I do not know if this is the time of Revelations but I do know that the Lord is good and just.
(It is one of the few contexts in which I really do trust my chain of command.)

no, this has been going on for decades. And revelations is only one possibility' The author did say it was a dream, and we all know how bad dreams tend not to happen.

Possibly, possibly not.
As Christians we do not have to worry because God is with us and he will carry us through any such events.
Cordially,
John
