Many people try to share their insights, and knowledge of life, love, and wisdom with those they love. Who is more open?
I ask, in reference to a song, 'Teach your children', by Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. The song suggests we feed them, on our dreams...

Some Parents have no idea about how to teach their children anything but how to run rings around them! It depends on the lessons being taught, but there are things to be learned from both.
A parent should teach a child how to respect other peoples property and feelings. To bring them up with good values. Also teach by example how to look after their nutrition and health. Parents have the responsibility of being there to steer their children in the right direction toward becoming worthwhile members of society.
Children can teach us the value of wonder in the small things we may have forgotten like blowing the seeds from a dandelion or building a sand castle and give us a refreshing glimpse of innocence while it lasts. They can also teach us it's time to grow up and become the responsible parents they need.

I found out that it is easier to teach your children than parents because parents or any adult for that matter have mind-sets that are "formatted" based on experience while children are more open to more ideas. Early training is good for kids if you set them onto the path of being respectful, decent, compassionate and loving and caring people. Adults who have too many angst and anxiety are harder to "train".

Teaching, much like learning, is a process that never ends.
Both are open-minded to different things, but children tend to trust their parents more than parents trust their children, I think.
Best wishes.

children are more open minded because they dont understand prejudice or hatred the same way adults do. They're the smart ones when it comes to things like that not set in their ways yet and willing to listen.
