I am in the same situation as you...so I can only say: let's hope we will find someone very soon, because I'm losing my patience. Good luck!

Well this is something you may have some control over in terms of putting yourself out there and trying to meet as many people as you can, however just because they will love you for who you are does not mean that person will be the one of your dreams.

It can take a whole lifetime. So best not to waste time looking and just let it happen. You want someone to love you for who you are then just be yourself and the more people that get to see it happening the better chance you will have. Work, and have fun/have your hobbies as if no one was watching.

took me approx 26 years.... :). i didn't date my 1st bf til 18 and i thought i would NEVER meet someone.... but now i am just learning that it is just SO important to love yourself first, and be confident that u deserve someone who loves u for who u are. don't waste ur time w/ those who don't appreciate you. make sure u are a great person, worthy of a great girl or guy, and when u find the right person, make sure they are worthy of u. u may love that person w/ all ur heart, but if u don't keep ur boundaries (ie respect, love, attention, affection, etc), u will end up loving someone who doesn't know how to satisfy all ur needs. and u satisfy theirs, but the relationship is not balanced. keep working on ur own confidence, and dont' queston urself. be confident, healthy, happy person and u will attract someone who is good enough for u (and that u are good enough for). good luck~

Sometimes it takes years and sometimes it takes an entire lifetime and sometimes a person never finds that love. But I do know one thing (even if i'm sixteen...)LOVE IS REAL.
I would only want someone who loves me for me..and my oddness and my 'hate of make up and girlyness' and my ....wait I'm talking about me and this is YOUR question. Anyway I guess it takes a while.

There is no time limit...

Be true to yourself-stick to what you believe in, what you know is best for you, be confident in yourself, know how and what makes you happy, never rely on somene else to make you happy.

Focus on your self, your life, getting it right, make yourself #1! When you have your ducks in a row, someone will notice and say hey, she's a fine catch!

If you dont have your stuff together, you will attract someone that doesnt have their stuff together either.

You never know. It is important that you know exactly what you want in a mate.

Write down everything you want in a person...eye color hair color, build, financial status, personality, style, hobbies, etc.

Once you know exactly what you are looking for it becomes a bit easier to find the person of your dreams and hopefully they will come to you faster.

You keep looking for it, you're waiting for it to happen and you expect it to. Trust me, keep yourself busy and your mind occupied. Stop looking, I know it's almost impossible because I've been in your position, and let it come to you. Let it come when it's meant to, how it's meant to. Just chill. It will happen. All in due time of course, so stop looking and let it look for you. Good luck.
