OH YES!!
It is just like any large city in the U.S.
If you were blindfolded and flown there, then dropped in the middle of Toronto, you would think you were in the U.S.

They have everything that we do and more.

The nightlife is the same as here also.

It is a beautiful city with a lot of beautiful women.

You'll love it! Everyone speaks english and it is more modern than most cities we have here in the states.

You won't be disappointed. I promise.

They also have all the fast food restaurants we have here too.

As a matter of fact, McDonald's was founded there.

Shopping malls everywhere. It's a big city.
You won't be bored, that's for sure.

Their currancy is the equivalent of ours, so you can't be flustered as to how much things cost. The currency is Canadian but the exchange is the same.

Good Luck on your new move. You are lucky it is Toronto!
Very cool.

I'm sure, once you get used to living in a new city, you'll love it and make a ton of new friends. Friends that have interesting stories to tell.

You have nothing to fear. I promise.

Toronto is one of the most popular cities in the world.

I live in Toronto and I guess it depends where YOU lived in the States. From personal experience I actually like it here more because we have free healthcare ^^ good education systems and so much more. Lifestyle is about the same and shopping is great downtown. There are hundreds of bars uptown and downtown and also there are many multicultural and festive events that take place throughout the year. Transportation is easy and convenient and there is a lot of shopping around each corner of the city.
Hope this helps ^^

It's like any other major city in the U.S. Job market can be tough. Nightlife is fine, but it's not New York.

There are a lot of clubs downtown. The club district is really hopping on the weekend, or more accurately from Wednesday to Sunday. It's a little different, but you won't be bored.

It's great...probably a lot more lively than a lot of US cities...Toronto is up there with New York, Chicago and L.A. Plenty to do, lots to see and great bars to go to! It's very similar to American culture.
