The Best Western Potomac View hotel is located in a rather high crime area, and there is a lot of road construction going on with the Wilson Bridge project. It is not an area I would want to be walking in at night!!.

The Comfort Inn is in a better location. but is not that close to a subway stop. The hotel may offer a shuttle service to the subway, you could call them and check.

The Hampton Inn in Bowie has a Mertobus Park and Ride lot within easy walking distance, and they do have some express buses to New Carrollton Metro.

If you are driving to the area, and going to be driving your own car to the subway, be aware that there is limited parking available at some stations. I would NOT want to leave my vehicle at the Southern Ave station, due to the crime rate in that area!!

There is no parking at the Pentagon station. The New Carrolton station parking lot tends to fill up early in the morning. Depending on the day(s) that you will be in the area, you may want to consider staying in the Calverton/ Greenbelt area, and using the Greenbelt station (which has more available parking)

Southern Ave Metro is the nearest but you would have to take a bus or taxi there.

There is no subway station in Bowie- you would have to take a bus or taxi to New Carrollton Metro.

You would have to take a bus or taxi to Pentagon Metro.
