There are some things in life you just can't compromise on. In my opinion your life's goals is one of them. If your priority is with your life's dreams then choose your dreams.
"There are plenty of fish in the sea". Trite statement but still true. There will never be another like the one you have now, but there will be another that can fulfill you in new and different ways.

You find a way to incorporate the two. That means plan your ambitions to include the love of your life and work your plans to include that person. That is why you must be honest and willing to share ideas with each other.

This must be an incredibly difficult time for you at the moment.
If you have the opportunity to pursue your lifelong ambitions and dreams I would encourage you to pursue them. Many times you have only a limited window to take an excellent opportunity by the horns that will enable you to fulfill or help fulfill your dreams. Remember, life is full of potential but you MUST realize that you have to take advantage of opportunities as they materialize.
Your gentleman friend should understand that for you to fulfill 100% of your potential in life will only enhance his stature in your eyes . . .

You shouldn't have to choose. The "love of your life" should respect any ambitions and plans you have and wants to help you achieve them.

You shouldn't have to if he is the love of your life he should have known about your ambitions and plans and should have been in agreeance with it. If on the other hand you never told him or you did tell him and he told you thats not what you want then you made your own bed and now you have to lie in it.

if it is the love of u r life for sure then ambition dont count because if u have love you have everything if you ain't got love then it dosent matter what u have .

you shouldnt have to. if he is the love of your life he should meet you half way when it comes to this kind of stuff. as should you. there is always a way. all you have to do is think through your options.
