Usually all popular kids at my high school are the worst in grades. Why not?

Popular?
What is popular?
Asking everyone around you, strangers and friends to like you without any reserve?
For me, even if I fail a grade, I won't be disliked cause I have treat people with respect. I won't be popular too. I will just be accepted, encouraged and still be very much loved by my family and friends! :)

Perhaps you should stop worrying about your popularity and worry about the fact that you failed a grade.

Why worry about being popular. If you are "yourself" people will eventually find that more attractive than trying to be like the others. Develop your personality and you'll see. (and your friendships will be more satisfying too.)

I think you need to worry about your studies rather than being popular right now...if you've failed you've already proven my point.
