Diet Coke has some sugar, but much less than regular Coke, while Coke Zero has zero sugar. Both taste terrible, but the Zero is much worse than Diet, and it leaves a nasty aftertaste.

From what I understand its all about the original formulas that they are derived from. I believe regular Diet Coke is a sugar free version of "New Coke" which was a marketing disaster (or maybe a marketing stunt) in the 1980s and CocaCola Zero is just a diet version of "Coca-Cola Classic (Or Original Coke).

Coke Zero has 3 times more Caffeine in it.
Supposed to be a rival for Pepsi Max - both drinks were marketed more at men who object to being seen drinking 'diet' drinks.
But others are wrong - both Diet Coke and Coca Cola Max are Sugar free.
There is a slight difference in taste, but get it on tap from a pub and you won't tell the difference.

Diet Coke tastes like Diet soda while CocaCola Zero tastes just like regular coke except that it has zero calories unlike regular coke.

there isnt any different. cocacola zero is just another brand of cola.it is sugar free. It does taste slighty different. Its the same as diet pepsi and pepsi max.pepsi max is sugar free its just another brand of pepsi. Basically they are try to make more money by introducing them

They're exactly the same. It's just a marketing thing. Like why is there Diet Pepsi and Pepsi Max, they are exactly the same, it was marketing to get men to drink diet drinks (a man would rather be seen with Pepsi Max than Diet Pepsi)

Zero tasted better then Diet coke!!! Have you tried diet cherry coke?? that stuff is awesome..

Diet coke doesn't have naural sugars but has artificial sugars in (which somehow means it has no sugar!), and zero as no sugars in at all! hope that answers your question!

its the same as pepsi max, not alot of guys like to ask for a diet coke so they made this. its meant to taste like normal coke and its advertising campagns are aimed at men, i have tried it and its nice, i would prefer that to diet since i am fat, haha.
