Just woke up with really bad heartburn, I have no antacids or anything and it's like 2:30 in the morning. What's a good natural remedy for heartburn?

I don't know if you have tums over there or not but they work wonders. My doctor also told me that milk is really great for heartburn. She suggested eating a bowl of cheerios whenever I get the heartburn because the milk helps a lot and the cheerios put something bland in your tummy to help absorb the acid that is causing the heartburn. Yogurt is also really great. I must say I'm jealous though! 8 months and you're just now getting heart burn. I've been having terrible heartburn since I was about 18 weeks along. My morning sickness was really bad (I lost about 15 pounds just because I couldn't keep food down) and around 17 weeks my morning sickness lifted and I felt great and just when I thought God was giving me a break the heartburn kicked in lol. Good luck with the rest of your pregnanct, congrats on the baby and I wish you a safe and healthy delivery!!

For preventive measures, you may like to eat only about 80% full and eat your food slowly next time.
Yeah, I think baking soda, which is alkaline, neutralises the acid in your stomach, may work wonders.
