I am trying to think of gift ideas. I have a big family, so I have to start now. I was thinking it would be cool to buy everyone a magazine subscription. Like pre-pay for it for everyone, then let them pick what magazine they want. is there a way to do that? cheapest place?

Mags are kind of cool, especially if you get something very specific to each person. Like for the graphic designer you get like How or Print, or a computer design mag, and for the photographer, carpenter, and so on and on. We've also taken in photos of all the kids and had them collaged onto a big poster for the grandparents and stuff like that. Also, we had family t-shirts made one year which eveyrone thought was really cool.

i just typed in magazines.com and they have gift cards you can buy. you could just give them all a $15 gift card to there and they'd be able to pick out what subscription they wanted
