Okay hear goes........No prenatal vitamins will not make you hair grow faster or longer. However the prenatal vitamins will help keep your hair healthy there fore it will become longer faster because it isn't beaking off at the ends as bad. Another way to keep your hair growing faster is to keep it trimmed on the ends. Split ends are gone and hair is healther. Good luck to you and I hope this helps. :)

Any multi-vitamin will help to speed up hair growth. Prenatals are a more commonly named one in the specifics of hair growth because it's mainly women that want that result and prenatals are a vitamin that is geared specifically for women's needs.
Your hair and nails are both simply waste product from the body. It sounds gross, I know, but that's what it is. It's comprised mainly of proteins and bound by base minerals. So when your body consistently has a surplus of these things, some of the excess that you don't process is expelled as hair and nail fibers.
So if you regularly take a multi (prenatal or otherwise) vitamin, your body should have a surplus of the minerals needed, as long as your diet is also fairly balanced. Therefor, your hair and nails will grow at a slightly higher rate. (The effect pregnancy has on these growth rate increases is primarily due to the surplus in both nutrient intake and the body processing wastes from both the mother AND the baby.)
Doing this for a month WON'T give you dramatic growth, however. After a while, you will notice the difference in rates, but it doesn't happen that quickly.

I have had two children. My hair became thicker and grew faster while pregnant. Also, my nails became hard and easier to grow long. Unfortunately, after the prenatal vitamins stopped, so did my great hair. My hair became thinner and flat. It has never been as nice. My nails continued through breast feeding, and now are dull, thin, and hard to grow long.
To grow your hair out long, do look into vitamins. To get it long enough in a month...well, what about a wig!

No, prenatal vitamins do not make your hair grow longer faster. Hair grows about 1/2 inch a month.

No actually they dont, but pregnancy is what helps your hair grow all shiny and stuff. then when you give birth its falls out like crazy, that's what happened to me when i was pregnant. I kept taking the prenatal vitamins after birth, but my hair kept falling out anyway. It has to do with your hormones.

prenatal vitamins will not make your hair or nails grow longer or faster. Hair is dead cells. Women don't lose hair during pregnancy because of the hormonal changes, but even then it still doesn't grow any faster.

vitamins will make nails and hair grow longer but i think its mainly the hormones in the body at pregnancy that make hair and skin grow longer, after you have the baby, you will have a period of shedding hair... that is normal.... unless it all falls out....which my sister lost over half her hair after she had the baby, due to her losing weight by throwing up, its good to continue vitamins of some kind....

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://tinyurl.im/aH7P8 While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.
