OMG I have to stay out of this section, you people are killing me.

Yes, there are diets that work even for people like you and me (those born without the will power gene and with the donut gene). The best ones cut calories, increase nutrition, counseling support and most importantly - DON'T ask you do commit to giving up things you love. The plan I picked (I lost 45 lbs and kept it off) let me eat my sweets and helped with the cravings so it worked for me.

A tummy tuck is an operation, so YES it is dangerous. And if you do it you will still gain back all the weight (and probably more) if you don't go on the same diet you would have used to lose the weight without the tummy tuck. Please call email me before you do this, I can help you. I will do an hour long complementary Health and Nutritional Evaluation for you and under certain circumstances I can even give you ongoing weight loss counseling for free. Tummy tucks and liposuction are NOT methods of weight loss, so if you just need to lose weight, no - a tummy tuck is a bad idea.

Both tummy tucks and liposuction of specific areas are designed to "remold" your body. A tummy tuck (which I had done over a week ago) is best for people who have loss A LOT of weight and/or have had many pregnancies or multiple birth pregnancies (like my twin pregnancy) BECAUSE OUR BODIES / SKIN HAVE COMPLETELY LOSS THEIR ELASTICITY and CANNOT go back to their normal appearance. A lot of people think EVERYONE can just lose weight and have great looking bodies just through diet and exercise alone. It's just not true when your body has been stretched beyond repair.

MY SUGGESTION: Go talk to a plastic surgeon....they will give you an honest answer and tell you if a tummy tuck is what you need. (They can tell how the fat is situated on your belly and whether diet and exercise will help you or not.) THEY WON'T RECOMMEND AN UNNECESSARY TUMMY TUCK....but they may say liposuction is an option. And I would say NO to liposuction....it's an expensive way of losing some weight.

Have you tried Weight Watchers? They are fairly easy to follow...

The only way to lose weight is naturally. Cut calories, exercise, and tone. It's a very slow way, but the only way. Tummy tucks and any other surgury is very dangerous, it's just not worth it. Try to find a buddy to help along the way or a helpful website, better yet go to your doctor and explain your situation to him.

If you mean the challange of downing a large (2 litre) bottle of coke and a full pack of mentos, the answer is nope... For a start it has to be DIET COKE to work properly - Something in the diet soda reacts with the mentos shell causing the excess CO2. Secondly, No matter how many mentos you manage to eat, it will not have any effect except to give you one hell of a bloated gut and maybe regretting drinking so much at once. It has been tested... Stupidly! If however you mean simply dropping a mentos in a coke... Hell go for it! Its FUN!

well, all I have to say about a tummy tuck is, if you are planning on having kids/more kids (depending on your situation), it would not be a good idea to have a tummy tuck.

My little sister had it done. We researched it on the computer and talked to several plastic surgeons before she got it done. All I can say to you is: Even the best doctor in the world cannot make it look good if scarring runs in your family. Talk to your mother, grandparents, aunts, sisters, anyone you can to get an idea of scarring. My sisters stomach is flat but the scar that stretches from hip to hip is horrible.
