Not less human, but I think we aren't high priority with a lot of food companies, apparently. I wish they would sell half loaves of bread; I always end up throwing half away because I'm the only one eating it. Milk goes bad; have to get several of the small one-serving bottles. Even the pre-washed salad bags go bad unless I eat it for lunch & dinner every single day (no pun intended). A lot of other things about not being married don't bother me, but every time I go grocery shopping, I get slightly irritated.

maybe not less human, but somehow deficient. I don't agree with this. I am married and we have single friends who are special to us both. I think being single must be a lonely and difficult place to be at times.

Sure. The kids in my appartment complex run wild, and if you say anything to the parents they look down on you and tell you, "what do you know? you don't have children, that's how they're supposed to be." That superior attitude, combined with the constant noise and vandalism by their lovely progeny is what really drives me crazy.

Probably , because the structure of society consists of men and women ( mainly families) and children.

It's not society. It's parents who do that.
