Which came first - the chicken or the egg? "The chicken" came first - in the sentence of the question. If the question is phrased differently, the answer is different.

In a theological view.. the chicken came first..God made it so the egg came last. In evolution purposes.. that's hard to know I wasn't there when the first chicken hatched out of the egg... My guess is that there must have been two chickens who copulated and resulted in an egg with a baby chick... Anyways a hen must have laid that egg... I am going back to my first statement.. I am sticking with that.

Aliens came to Earth millions of years ago and bred with pterodactyls who then laid an egg and there you have the first chicken. So the egg came first.

The chicken and I can prove it. If the egg came first, what was sitting on it to keep it warm and make it hatch????
