hopefully you're skin tone looks good with blonde, and also you want to know what type of blonde you want- i personally think platinum blonde goes best and it's the most intriguing color, also try to see what you'll look like as a blonde..when i dyed my hair blonde i realized that my eyes didn't stand out as much and my skin (with blonde ) looked really dull and and reddish- if you're pale i;m sure that it will look good, have fun with it- if it doesn't work you can always dye it back to black!

I have done this while I was in high school. And I strongly recommend going to a salon to have it done, I know you may prefer not to. When I went from black to blonde I bleached my hair once and it turned orange and I had to bleach it a second time and it completely fried my hair and it was still yellow so I put blonde dye over it after that. After a couple months of hating to try to do touch ups I dyed it brown trying to go back to normal and the color faded in a week and I had to keep redying it and finally I just got a really short hair cut and waited for it to grow out. The best thing to do would be to talk to a stylist about getting highlights every couple months or so and lightening it that way. Good luck!

Ok

Hi, I'm Pearl a licensed stylist and beauty consultant>

Blk hair needs to be lifted so many levels in order for the hair to be a clean blonde color
That itself will damage
Try some low lights first and with the low lights do a few hi-lites ok it fools the eyes of people by gradually adding hi-lites to your hair without over damaging and it still looks presentable ok try that and as time goes lift a little lighter but remember keep lowlights in it makes it work

email me if you have anymore questions

Try a blonde wig first to see how you look. I dyed my blonde hair dark brown once and I looked ghastly. It didn't suit my skin colour (very fair). You might be very unhappy with the result if you just went ahead and dyed it, and you'd have to live with it for a while before you could undo it! I think if it was me I'd just buy a blonde wig and ring the changes.

Go to a proffesional, because first you have to bleach your hair. Then they will put a color filter of the blond you want. They might also recomend a shade of blond that works best for your skin tone.

I would recommend you going for the bleaching treatment. Choose only those bleachment treatments that does not have a strong ammonia chemical smell. Condition ur hair regularly after that to keep damage to a minimum.

It probably wont look natural...You should consider a warmer brown..maybe w/ lighter highlights. If you really like blond see a professional..your gonna need stripper or it will just be brassy.. I'd go w/ brown though, the blond will be a ***** to keep up.

You will spend every free moment for the rest of your life "touching up" your (horrible) dye job: either that or walk around looking like a skunk. I have seen naive teenage girls like this: it looks perfectly AWFUL. When their mothers end up spending 2 or even 3 hundred dollars to "fix" the mess and they see the difference, the girls FINALLY "get it."
