mine is 12 and going into 7th grade. She has had tons of support, and has made great strides. I just want to hear from other parents of children with Asperger's Syndrome as to what they found to be helpful.

Asperger's Syndrome is within the Autism Spectrum of disorders. It is sometimes referred to as high functioning autism. Most kids with Asperger's Syndrome have alot of trouble with social interactions particularly among peers. They usually get along with and prefer the company of adults. They tend to not understand body language, or subtle facial expressions. All those things that are second nature for most when interacting with other people are not easy at all for a child with Asperger's Syndrome.

I have never heard of that disease but it seems interesting to look into it and learn what it is.
