My lover has told me many times before that she wants to break up with me. I always disagreed and we always make up and we get cool again but after a few days she brings up the issue all over again. She said her reason was that she doesn't want to hurt me but we've always been happy together, so what the hell is going on? I love her so much... I don't want to let her go and I don't want her to leave me either... help...

Well you see, she sort of has "issues" or whatever you call it. She's been an alcoholic for a year and I'm trying really hard to support her and she's been sober for a few months. Also, she's quitting her smoking and crazy self-destructing habits and I'm really happy that she's giving up all those bad things. She said she doesn't want me to get "hurt" anymore by those habits of hers but I can see it right before my eyes that she's trying really hard to stop it all and I've never been happier in my life than when I'm with her so I'm really confused.

You can't make someone love you, and as the saying goes, if you really loved her you'd let her go.

NO! Hold on. Really figure out the issue and work it out with her, if you have a bond that strong it's worth making a change for. Good Luck

PS Letting someone you love go over petty issues ends up haunting you for a very long time... I still haven't recovered fully.

i felt that way too to my past b.f. I want to break up with him but whenever we're together we are happy.I found out that I'm not sure about my feelings for him. I'm still looking for the one whom I really love. Maybe your gf feels that way too. She's not sure about her feelings towards to you but she can't tell you because everytime she saw you aching she feels the guilt. Try to ask her if there is something wrong with you. Are you not the one she's looking for or there is somebody who makes her more happy. If that's the reason you have to set her free even it will break your heart.

If she is all about leaving you, she is not worth your love. You seem to be a sweet guy and you'll find a lady love better than her out there! Think about it. I know its hard to let go but you have to go on. Clinging on to someone (like her) will get you nowhere..........

maybe she has issues she needs to work out within herself. try to sit down and have a heart to heart talk with her and see if she will confide in you what is really bothering her. if she doesnt want to talk to you then maybe you should consider letting her go. you have to be able to talk to one another to have a friendship let alone a romance.

My friend, ask her why she wants to break up with you & whether something can be done to overcome the situation.
