So: In improving class discipline, you have to remember something very clearly. If you try to manage the class, you are not helping anyone. The students will think you are a teacher's pet, and the teacher will think you are belittling him. Anyway, it depends, most k-12 classes are going to be pretty hard. Basically, I think the only way to improve it is to have your teacher do pop quizzes.

The students must control their own selves. They must practice self-discipline. I think that's their role.
