"Most cant enforce laws of other states".....??? well, it is the law in EVERY state that u have a properly registered and tagged vehicle. so even if u were in another state u would still be in violation of their laws. and be careful, some states (such as NC) now require that all owned vehicles have updated tags and registration, even if it is completely broken down and has been in your yard for 10 years, you must now get it registered, unless you are a salvage yard owner. but as far as that, so far it has gone unenforced because the cops are not going to houses just randomly running plates of cars in the driveway/yard unless you are wanted for something else and thats just one more thing they can pin on you. but as far as driving yes they can and may write a ticket. it shows up in each state's database whether the plates are valid or not, even if you are from a different state. good luck though because being that u are even asking, i know u are still planning on driving! :)

each and every state acknowledges valid plates from different states. The time period for that's "reciprocity". besides the undeniable fact that, alongside with recognizing the valid plate, in addition they comprehend an expired plate, and also you'll be issued a quotation. In some states, it is a misdemeanor and also you may pass to reformatory.
