I hope that I can say this in a way you understand.

First of all, it looks like you are not going out with this guy just yet... so before you start thinking whether he's gonna push you aside you need to find out if he's gonna go out with you or not.

Once you've answered this question, then you can begin to ask yourself the question you posed.

I agree with the first response that if he is in to you he will not push you aside. You must remember that there are alot of different people that value different things. For example, I have friends that value family over friends and girlfriends in that order.
Girlfriends come third just behind friends... if this is the type of guy then it is possible that he may put you aside over his friends.

What you need to do before you even go out with this guy is to determine where you would fit into the equation. This will save you alot of headaches and heartaches.

So just to simplify my answer... find out what he values first... best way is to simply ask... communication is key in all types of relationships if that is what you want from him then it should be no problem for you to get an answer... then once you have your answer... you'll know what to do.

If he lies just to be with you for a while... then all you'll be left with is an experience that you'll have to learn from and not forget because experience will make you smarter. Good luck.

I'm not sure how long you have known this guy or what type of relation you two hope to develope but if you like him and he likes you back, then I'm sure that he will not push you to the side when around his friends but at the same token,there is a time for you and a time for his friends no disrespect to you at all.

Depends on the guy. But if you were, he's too worried about what his friends think of him that having a real relationship. Go on a date. If he pretends he doesn't know you around his friends, make it the last date, and move on. His loss.

most likely my ex boyfriend did that and then later he tried pressuring sex onto me.depends on the guy but if you do go out and he does that around his friends at lunch embarass him and dump milk on his head, then tell him you two are over.
