Wierd Science
It was the perfect fantasy movie for a teenage boy in the 1980's. It takes me back to the good times of being a teenager each time I watch it again.
I only own four DVDs (intentionally)... Wierd Science, Top Gun (my second favorite because of the great acting and exciting fighter jet scenes and sound), Office Space (my third favorite, Beavis & Butt-head's creator Mike Judge put together this hillarious comedy that gets funnier each time I watch it -considered a cult classic and I can see why), and Fools Rush In (not necessarily one of my top favorites, but Salma Hayek is in it and it's entertaining with a good story for a romantic comedy).

Captain Corelli's Mandolin.
When I was as teenager, I had been living in America for a few years after immigrating from Portugal. Although I was getting quite comfortable speaking English, I still was not completely fluent. To help with my fluency, I began reading books that were written in English. While in the book store with my mama one day, I found the book "Corelli's Mandolin" sitting on a table. I began reading it. Although it was a little difficult at first, I really loved the book. It was the very first English novel that I had ever read. Years later, when the movie came out, I watched it, and completely loved it. I guess that I really love the book AND the movie because it truly helped me to learn English and speak it fluently. Plus, I've always been a romantic. :)

MOUSE HUNT is so funny. I never tire of seeing it. Nathan lane is great.
I thought it was a kid flick but it is sophisticated comedy and also great comic pratfalls etc. Loved the mouse. He stole the show but the cameo by Christopher Walken must be mentioned.
This film is Hilarious and poignant all at once.

Mine is Titanic! Yeah, the scripts aren't the best, and Leo and Kate Winslet aren't the best couple out there, but I have to say James Cameron did a great job. Love Celine Dion, too.

2001: A Space Odyssey and Fargo.
2001 because it's a two and a half-hour long movie that manages to get by with about two and a half pages of dialogue and still be amazing; and Fargo because of Steve Buschemi's brilliant preformance. So funny.

Most favourite movie for my case is Lord of the Rings-The Return of the King. I simply loved some of the dialogues there.

"Casablanca" Definitely. It's the best suspense movie, the best love story, the best war story, the best script, the best characters, And who could forget Bogart as Rick and Ingrid Bergman as the hauntingly beautiful Ilsa. Greatest movie EVER!
