why do people come here to ask questions (like to get lyrics) when they could get a faster answer by googling it?

I have learned to take a kinder more gentler approach to asking and answering on here. Remember it is all for fun. There are no rules outside of avoiding offensive content. We can all exist peacefully in here. Leading by example is the best way to win others over to your way of thinking. I suggest keep track of the people who give intelligent answers to your questions and who asks great questions you enjoy answering. Remember, cream rises to the top. With a little searching, you will soon discover who the cream is.

I dont know...most of my questions were not answerable by those means and were purely opinion based or culture based or something I couldnt identify without knowing the name (like species of spiders or insects) , but I have noticed most people ask simple questions that can easily be answered by google or wikipedia...I think it is because they dont know how to look it up and have not done much research in thier lives, and so dont know how to go about it.

Maybe some of them want more than an answer could be they like others opinions that go along with it also.

Perhaps they don't know any lyrics at all? Maybe they've tried search engines and they yielded nothing. Other than that, I don't know!
