OK wake up... you are legally and adult and she is legally a minor. So any kind of sex you have with her is technically statutory rape. So be careful, or better yet wait to have sex for a couple of years. (The time will go by fast)

I'm from OKlahoma..and it would be illegal here if you were havin sex........but don't know about New york! I knew people that have had there parents turn in there bf because the parents didn't like em'..........so I'd stay on the safe side and don't piss off her parents!

im not sure.. my bf is 18 and im 16 and i live in california... its illegal if he has sex with me but it is ok for me and him to date... what i think is that it should be ok for you and her to date... just dont have sex... but just check the state laws of new york...

If you have sex with her your and her parents find out and decide to press charges your going to jail. Even if she is 17 and has consented, she is still a minor and your an adult.
