i tried to rephrase the question, i hope you can now help me.
you see, a friend of mine one day had a very sad face on. so i asked her what's wrong, and she said that she overheard her mom on the phone with a guy. moreover, she found out that the guy is actually working in the market place, selling eggs!
the worst thing is, she can't have her mom know that she know her mom has a boyfriend, but she want to end that silly relationship.
i can't bear looking at her hopeless look everyday, so could anyone please help?

Good Grief.... They're both old enough to conduct their own relationship without interference from anyone else. Besides, what 47 yr old female wouldn't want a 27 yr old egg salesman? LOL!!! Tell your friend to get a life and be happy...I don't understand the sadness...her mother has a right to have someone special in her life too.

I'd say any profession that a person has shouldn't be a basis for a relationship. I'd also say that as long as two people like/love each other shouldn't be determined by age - as long as it's legal.
You should be looking at why your friend has an issue with it first. There could be more mental issues she has to deal with than you may know. It's never nice to see a friend upset but we all go through things in life that makes us unhappy, it's part of life.

your friends mom is a widow, meaning her husband is dead, she isn't having an affair your friend may not of got over her fathers death but it sounds like her mother has, she may need counselling to come to terms with his death still because after all it's your friend that's upset not her mom she seems to have moved on already or does your friend need a boyfriend as well and is just jealous her mom has one and she hasn't..if the boyfriend was 17 id spot a problem but he isn't, he's a proper adult and so is she...so the one with the problem is your friend, she should lighten up on her mum, if he was crack dealer instead of selling eggs I'd understand the worry about the job but come on selling eggs it means he has a job isn't this a bonus it means he isn't a layabout on the dole she should be happy for her mum

I am not seeing the problem with the relationship between the mother and this salesperson. The problem I am seeing is you and your friend. Stay out of it. You are an adult and so is your friend. Her mother has raised her and sent her on her way to live her life, let the mother live hers. Ages doesn't matter in adult relationships.
My mother is married to a man that is younger then I am and it is the BEST relationship my mother has had in her life, that includes the one she had with my father. They are both very happy, and have been together for 6 years now with no problems in sight.
And what does selling eggs have to do with anything? Be happy he has a job!!
Just stay out of it. You are both selfish bitches if you don't.

1. Did she misunderstand the conversation. She should make sure of her facts before making any conclusions.
2. Is her father still living with her mom or is he dead, if so ....her mom is old enough to know right from wrong.

Great - the guy works for his money. Market sellers work hard, and there is a lot of dignity in that.
