Yeah, i wish i had a best friend. My "best" friend was my mother who died 1 year ago this April and she basically raised my on her own. She was my everything doc,teacher,judge,jury, while you get the point, but she died of that bone ( marrow) disease she lived for 3 years and i took care of her till the end while Hospice did it the rest for me but I was their by her side till the end.But I would love to have a "best " friend someone who I can talk to hang out with do things with . Right now I am preg: and dew next month and my husband is a truck driver and he calls when he can. So I am lonely but I also have a 5 y.o daughter ( who I am glad will be starting school next month also) I don't know how single mothers/women do it all by them selve but I guess I will be raising my kids by my self soon since my husband will be a truck driver and rearly every get to see him maybe a occasional phone call.But I also know that some people don't know the real meaning of "best "friends. To me it means loyalty,honest,trust. and I have not found that in anyone yet.S o I just have "friends' OR acquaints. and that is OK with me .

win i was 6,i use to wish for a best friend,even though i had lots of sisters n brothers,but now that i am older,i am happy to relize that my real best friends r my family,but i hop u do find a best friend,maybe u dont have brothers or sisters,but even if u do they r probaly a pain n the butt right now,so just start talking more to people,u will find a friend.good luck.

yes i do. you are not alone. i am married with 3 children of my own and 3 step-children. I wish every day that i had a best friend to spend time with to just get away and have a little bit of fun with.

i don't have a BEST friend. I have four really close friends and i rely on them for different things. One makes me laugh, one is a shoulder to cry on, one always knows what to do, and one is the one i tell all my secrets to. None of them are more important than the other.

I have several best friends
But sometimes I wish they were BETTER best friends.
I see "best friends" on movies and stuff and they're a lot more considerate than mine are.
