Being from Missouri I have to be shown and thus far I'm afraid that I haven't seen anything that strikes me as serious evidence for their existence. A few grainy photos and a couple of guys from a trailer park who smell like empty bottles of Old Thumb Sucker and swear they were abducted and probed anally isn't exactly what I would call compelling. I don't think they exist,,,but if it turns out I'm wrong and that they are real then I'll bet they come from,,,Canada, damn sneaky Cannucks, they've had things too good for too long and it would be just like them.

UFOs prove out to be a variety of things. Some are simply St. Elmo's fire. Some are experimental aircraft. Some are exhaust trails from rockets. Some are light reflections from commercial or private aircraft, Of the UFOs that do not prove out most if not all are a class of angels known as watchmen. There are the gremlins of WWI and WWII. Finally there are the l00 yard long triangular shadows which fly less than 1,000 feet off the ground. They block out moonlight and star views, fly at equal speeds in any of four directions, have no depth or moving parts, are soundless and can disappear in an instant. Why I don't know.

UFO activity seems to pick up in the springs of every second year.

Other than onlookers who have witnessed n cited strange objects, physical impressions on land and pictures suggest that there have been such objects.

Early days during supremacy battle between the then super powers of World (i guess you know which countries am talking) we saw a stiff battle going and there were secret spy missions undertaken some believe that the UFO were objects sent to spy countries. But never had we seen saucer like flying objects with high beam lights dated back to 60's and 70's as cited by some people who have actually witnessed them.

Human understanding is far too limited to imagine things beyond scope of human brain. So its just not possible to tell where they come from and what do they want. What do we want to know by sending manned space flights? What do we gain from these missions? These are some questions that could answer your questions. This topic is never ending so drawing a line of control.

The mystery still haunts and remains as one and may be some day we come across aliens who are friendly - unlike humans :)

I imagine if they have technology to travel through the universe as quickly as they would need to, that they also have technology that is sufficient to keep their presence mostly unknown.

UFO stands for "unidentified flying object" so UFOs by definition certainly exist. As far as if they are alien spacecraft or not is another issue.

And we probably wouldn't know the answer to the last parts of your question until we meet any.

Best wishes.

I believe there has to be life out there somewhere else, I think it would be pretty egotistical to think there wasn't. I don't know if I believe they have been here yet. As far as what do they want, if they have that kind of technology then they are intelligent beings. I would guess they do it for the same reasons we do, curiosity.
