What happens if your pour some vitamins in your shampoo and wash your hair with it? Will it help me? I'm taking some vitamins called Gelatin Capsules. I bought it in Mexico and they are supposed to be good, they have alot of nutrients. So I am wondering if i pour it into my shampoo and wash my hair with it, will it help or will I go bald? Just a suggestion.

Gelatin has big molecular size. It less be absorbed directy to your head's skin. Usually shampoo can make your head's skin and hair be cleaned. And by adding some vitamin, we hope our head's skin and hair will be healtier than before. But you'd better use treatment shampoo, because it contain proportional ingredients. Not to try by adding some chemicals into shampoo. Remember that your vitamin is for oral taken.

Vitamins can't be absorbed through your hair, which is essentially dead.

The only vitamins that have been associated with hair growth are the B vitamins.

I would worry about Mexican gelatin capsules. If you want to take gelatin (which won't affect your hair but will make your fingernails strong), just use Knox Gelatin from the good old USA.

your hair grows 1/4 to 1/2 inch a month, that's it. The vitamins may help inprove health but not hair growth. Just keep taking the vitamins the way they are seposed to be taken that way the rest of your body can be healthy too. Don't forget to trim your hair every 6 to 8 weeks to help keep the ends healthy & looking good.

They do have hair growth vitamins at GNC, I'm not sure if they actually work or not(I haven't tried them) but I'm told that they do

Hair is just dead cells, no amount of vitamins will help from the outside. Don't listen to advertisment hype. Vitamins taken orally can help with new hair growth by making healthy scalp and folicals.
